Wicked Little Lies Volume 2
By Tanya Contois

About the book:

Jocelyn has just turned 18 but instead of having the big celebration she was looking forward to for so long she finds out that not only is she not fully human but the people who raised her aren’t her real parents. Instead of staying to listen to her parents’ explanation she takes off and ends up going to live with her biological parents Jacoby and Adeline. Jocelyn quickly makes new friends and gains a potential boyfriend named Sonny but things are far from safe when Kane, another cambion makes his presence known. Now Jocelyn is left with many questions but few answers. What does the future hold for her and will she end up with Sonny? Only time will tell.

My Review:

To read my review of Wicked Little Lies, go here.

In Volume 2, we meet Kane — or rather Jocelyn meets Kane in a dream.  She finds out why her biological parents sent her away to live with her adoptive parents.  She understands why her biological parents did what they did — they had no choice.

Jocelyn returns to school and has another dream with Kane.  Kane reminds her she is to marry him and shows her the contract her biological parents signed.

Jocelyn seems to be having a rough time fitting in at the new school.  Luckily, she has her friends to confide in.  Sonny, the boy she met on her first day of school even asks her out on a date.

Jocelyn approaches her parents about Kane and discovers they were tricked into signing the marriage contract.

Volume 2 leaves an even bigger cliff hanger.  I am anxious for more about Jocelyn and her new family.  I am left not knowing what develops between Jocelyn and Sonny.
